Using your labelDAT image

Why doesn’t it show up in ANGEL when I paste it into a page? One explanation is your page format isn’t set to display as HTML. Under the area you pasted your Use code, make sure you set page format to “HTML text”. The second explanation is you are trying to view the labeled image while editing text in the ANGEL HTML Editor. If this is the case, the labeled image won’t show up but rest assured, it’s still there.
Here are some potential pedagogical uses for your labeled image:
- Use you labeled image as a test item. You can put labels with numbers and have the learner respond to what each numbered label is.
- Increase the amount of information associated with an image by labeling it to describe it’s various parts, or parts you wish to draw attention to.
- Use the HTML version as a printed hand-out in class.
- To make your project default to the print-friendly mode add "_print" to your Use code just before the ".js". (e.g. the "labelDAT_123.js" part becomes "labelDAT_123_print.js"
- The link to your project image without any hotspots looks like this http://labeldat.vudat.msu.edu/project123.jpg, where 123 is your project ID.
- The link to your project image with hotspots marked looks like this http://labeldat.vudat.msu.edu/hotspots123.jpg, where 123 is your project ID.
